John Koresko from Tehachapi, CA sent in these Photos of his 1964 Miller Meteor Hearse and Trailer he made from another one he use to driveYour don't see something like this everyday!
The 64 Sedan De Ville being towed home in the bottom photo is a daily driver and does not get all the love and attention the Hearse gets he says.
I only have one question ... Can a hearse carrying a corpse drive in the carpool lane?
Heres a good Story about this car another Customer and online Buddy now from Italy " Guido Brunelli" who was on vacation in the USA, sent me a note to tell me a story about this car, (SMALL WORLD!)
Hi Tim,
I saw on your website the photo of the 1964 Cadillac Hearse from Tehachapi (CA); it is very funny to see how much the world is small; it is really unbelievable, now I want to explain you what I mean.
Past year summer I had a two week vacation traveling with my wife and a couple of friends in west USA, while traveling from the death valley toward Visalia (CA) we decided to stop for the dinner in Tehachapi -all of us still remember the name of this village because in Italian it sound like a very funny slang way to say something equivalent to " fuck you" . We took the highway exit , and just at the beginning of the village there was a restaurant, in front of the restaurant there was a gas station, and the 1964 Cadillac Hearse with its Cadillac derived trailer was there, it was at the pump filling the tank. I parked my car in the restaurant yard and got my camera to take some photos of the Caddy; unfortunately in the meanwhile the Caddy left the gas station and I had no time to take the picture, it was pity, no photo of such a unique car. Now on your site I saw the photo, it is exactly the same car I saw there, it is really incredible, the world is really smaller than what we perceive!
Thank you Tim
Bye Guido
