What is an E-Book?

The word E-Book is shorthand for "electronic book." When you open an E-Book and view it on your computer screen, the pages look just like those of a paper book.

An E-Book is an amazing value because you download it directly from our server. You avoid paying for shipping and handling, as well as the costs of traditional printing.

An E-Book is fast, too. No matter what time of day or night your order is placed, an E-Book can be downloaded instantly after completing an order.

You can also save an E-Book to your hard drive and read it on your computer. This lets you take advantage of bookmarks, navigational hyperlinks in the text and the "find" function to instantly locate words or terms of interest. It's very handy! You can also print it to make a hardcopy.

All of our E-Books are in Adobe PDF format. To open and read an eBook, you need Adobe Acrobat Reader 5.0 or higher. Acrobat Reader is a free application available from the Adobe website.

Purchasing an E-book is fairly easy.

All purchased that paid thru PAYPAL or any major credit cards will be available as soon as the payment has been confirmed

Add the e-book that you want to buy in your shopping cart then use PAYPAL/CREDIT CARD as payment option. Once the payment thru PAYPAL is done make sure that you will return to our site.

Paypal will redirect you back to our checkout success page where you can download the e-book or if you want to download it later just simply log onto you account and download it from there.

IF ever paypal was not able to redirect you to our site. You can just simply click RETURN to Merchant.

You are free to shop printed manuals and e-books/e-manuals together just add them to your shopping cart. The printed manual will be shipped to your designated address and the e-books/e-manuals will be available for download upon purchased.

Expiry date would be 5 days from date the e-book has been purchased. You are given 5 days to download your e-book before the download link expires.

You are also given 3 times to download the e-book.

Why won't my E-Manual/E-Book open and display correctly?

This is a rare problem, and the solutions are simple.

First, you may be trying to open the E-Manual/E-Book with your word processing program. It will not work! You need to open it with Adobe Acrobat Reader or the full Adobe Acrobat program.

Second, if you have an ancient or old version of Adobe Acrobat Reader, an E-Manual/E-Book still won't open properly. You need to replace the old Reader with a newer version.

The good news is that Acrobat Reader is free from the Adobe website. Go to the page by clicking this icon:

Be sure to delete your old version of Acrobat Reader before you get the new one. It's the regular Acrobat Reader you want, not the one called Acrobat E-Book Reader.

The bad news is that the download can take as long as an hour, depending on your Internet connection. But it can happen in the background as you do other work on your computer.

Once you have an Adobe Reader 5.0 or higher, all Carburetor-Manual E-Books, and any other PDF documents will open and read just fine.

My E-Manual/E-Book didn’t download. What should I do?

Please don't panic! Nothing works perfectly all the time on the internet. Sometimes customers bungle their e-mail address or download code (it's smart to copy and paste the code to prevent typing errors). Sometimes there is a firewall or (rarely) a browser incompatibility.


Send an e-mail to our technical support department to let us know the E-Book didn't download. In the message, briefly explain what happened. Be sure to include the name of the E-book.

As soon as we read your message, we'll issue another download code or e-mail the E-book as an attached PDF document. This is a manual operation so can only happen during weekday office hours. If we're out, rest assured that we'll get on the problem as soon as we find out about it. Thanks in advance for your patience.
